The Past 3 Months...

Ok I know I haven't posted in the past 3 months, I guess that's what summer does to ya!! We really have been having a great summer so far, so much fun! Kaylie had a great birthday, then in the beginnning of June we went to the beach for a whole week! We have never done that before so it was our first real family summer vacation! We had a GREAT time and Kaylie did wonderful! There were a few times she was having a hard time sleeping in her pack and play and in a different place, but most of the time she slept great, ate great, and had a blast playing at the beach! We had pretty nice weather, cool at times, and a little rain here and there, but it was the perfect balance and we had some great beach days! We were really blessed to have our dear friends Dave and Michelle and their little girl Ava stay with us a few nights, my parents and brother stay a few nights, and PJ and Kristen and Bryce stay a few nights. We also had a day visit from Bobby's mom and grandmothers who had just picked up his cousins Justin and Lindsay from California who were out to visit. We had a ton of great peoople to spend our vacation with, it was perfect!

In celebration of summer, we have been doing a lot of fun things as a family lately. We go to the pool and splash park a lot, we go to the park, have picnics, went strawberry picking, have been to 2 petting zoo's, and of course have been up to Middletown a lot lately to check out our new home! Most of you know, but we are bulding a townhouse up in Middletown right near Frederick. We LOVE it up there! We really are sooooo blessed and Bobby and I sometimes talk about how we can't believe it is really happening! Middletown is a cute little town in the valley, with mountains all around it. The town is very small, and they only have 1 highschool, 1 middleschool, and one elementary that are all right next to each other. There is a huge community park with a pond, and a few playgrounds, that is really pretty and great for playing and picnics. You can even fish from the pond! :) Our house is being built on a golf course that is really nice and has great views. We still can't believe how the Lord has blessed us! We get a real smalltown country feel, with only being 10-15 minutes awyay from everything in Frederick. All the great resteraunts, malls, and of course a Super Walmart and a Target. It can't get any better for me! :)
They start to build this month, so we are looking at a Novemeber move in date. I don't think I have ever wished for the summer to go by so fast!

Other than that, we are just hanging around. Kaylie is growing and changing soooo much! She amazes me more and more each day! She is saying so many words, I am trying to write them down so I can keep record of what she is saying at 14 months! Here are the words she says:

"Please" (she says it so well!)
"B" (that is her beary blanket she carries with her everywhere)
"Joose" (for "Juice")
"Tree"
"Pool"
"Dog"
"PUH" (which means "UP" she has it backwards!)
"Buboo" (Bubbles)
"No No" (while shakin her head)
"Ball"
"Hi"
"Bye"
"Ish" (for fish)
"Chay" (for her highchair tray)
"Bir" (for bird)
"Duh" (for done)
"Bone" (she loves to give Roxy bones after she goes out)
"Bebe" (for baby)

I am sure there are a lot more I just can't remember them all! She walks everywhere, even tries to run sometimes! She has started giving us kisses now, which consists of her coming at our faces with a wide open mouth! :) She cracks me up with the things she does sometimes. Like when I am not watching her and I come to find my contact solution bottle in the middle of Roxy's food. Or when I find that she had picked up my big purse and put it inside her water table!

She loves her food. She likes almost everything which I am grateful for! I love that she prefers fruit and veggies over cookies and sweets. She eats fruit with pretty much every meal, her favorites still are strawberries, and she loves watermelon also. She is in love with broccoli, which I find hilarious when she eats it nd finishes it before she even eats the rest of her dinner! She loves veggie chips, they are her favorite snack. I found out she was in love with potato chips, and of course didn't want to give those to her all the time, so the veggie chips are the alternative! She is still obsessed with pickles. She can't get enough of them! I like them, but I think she is taking after her Aunt Jess on this one. :)

We spend most of our days playing at the house or going out someplace fun. She loves feeding the ducks and walking around the Rio. She loves going to the splash park and running around parks. When at home we have music time, where we get out all the instrumens she has and play them all. She loves to dance! She also LOVES to sit on her big horse that I found at a yard sale for $3! It's the best $3 I ever spent, she is obsessed with that horse and wants to ride it first thing, every time she wakes up. She still sucks her thumb. She loves reading her books, she likes to do it by herself. We have one very active girl that's for sure!!! I love every second of being with her, and I can't imagine a more fun girl!!

Here are some fun pics from the past few months!
