Random Thoughts

Well, the past week has been a good one, Bobby had his first big test this past Friday and did really well. He was hoping to do a little better, but he has been only doing better and better at the academy, I am so confident he will get higher scores the further he gets in! Just to let you all know, we found out his graduation is July 12th, so mark your calendars, we would love to have you come!
Anyway, nothing really new to share, it is a little crazy at our house right now. Crazy in the sense that the dog is being crazy, Bobby is being crazy, and Charles (our son) is being crazy. Here I am:

Roxy Getting Better, and Belated Valentine's Day

Well Roxy is recovering quite well. She really only slept the first night home, it has more been a huge effort to try and keep her calm. All she wants to do is play, and she is quite the crazy one! Here are a few pics of her:

Ok, now for Valentine's Day!! Because of the weather and only having one car last week, we had to wait to celebrate this past weekend. Bobby started out by telling me to get ready to go out to dinner. After I got ready, he told me to sit on the couch and close my eyes. In my hands he put a wonderful beautiful card, and then these:

TWO HUGE Godiva Chocolate covered strawberries (my favorite!) and...

A beautiful new necklace! I was super surprised, and then he made me get up, and he turned on the music and we danced to our wedding song, Lifehouse's "You and Me" which actually brought a little tear to my eye! :) After that, Bobby took me to....

A most amazing meal with memories of the day we said "I do" :) It was a perfect evening and I felt so loved by my amazing husband and all the thought that he put into our valentine's evening.

I love this man! :)

Recovering Roxy and Sick Car

Seems like things are just not feeling the best around here! :) Last thursday my car wouldn't start. After a few days of waiting and trying to jump start it, I realized that "Old Faithful" is very ill. It is right now as we speak being towed to the shop to have a look. Besides the inconveniance, I am really hoping that my car is not nearing the end of it's life. It has been so sturdy and such a trooper to my years of abuse. :) Please pray that is comes home well soon! :)
As we are speaking about coming home...Roxy was not able to come home tonight after being spayed earlier today. Let me tell you, I am going to be a mess when I am a mom! I dropped her off at the vet before work this morning and tears instantly flooded my eyes. "Pull yourself together woman!" I said to myself as I drove away and off to work. I did pull myself together, but man it has been hard being at home and not having her here! I miss my little buddy. The vet said that she did great through the surgery and they were taking goo care of her. I trust our vet, I just can't wait to get her home. I can't pick her up till after work tomorrow so she will be bombarded with kisses when I see her. I will post pictures when she gets home, she might have one of those really cool lampshade things around her neck! :)

Scrabble and My New Toy!

Yesterday was a lazy Saturday! I can't remember the last time we had nothing to do, no place to be, no errands to run, just absolutely nothing going on. So, we decided to bust out the Scrabble set that we got as a wedding gift and have yet to play! Bobby and I couldn't remember the last time we ever played scrabble, but it was fun! We think we probably both cheated a few times and most likely broke the rules, but it was a fun game and we think we might play it again sometime soon! :)

After scrabble, I played with my new toy. My brand new video ipod! This is a big deal because I actually one this in a raffle at my staff party last weekend! It was so crazy, all I did was put my name in a jar, and when they were on the ipod as the winning gift, my name was drawn! It is so neat because not only is it in color and shows the album color of each song that plays, it is holding ALL of my pictures that were saved on my computer, AND I can download and watch TV shows and movies! The picture is really clear too, it is so cool!! Here is my new toy:

You can see how much I have been playing with it with all the fingerprints. :)

Well, that's all for now, it's superbowl time, which I don't care too much about, but I do like to ea wings! :)
