Well, it is official! Yesterday was my last day of work. Even though I said I would be "on call" for the month of April, yesterday was my last scheduled day of work, and it was both happy and sad at the same time. Mixed emotions I would say. :) It feels weird to know that I will not be working for who know's how long, yet at the same time, I know that I will need to stock up on my rest now!!
So I guess this is kinda a milestone for me. Kaylie is expected around May 15th which is only about a month and a half away now, and I know the time is gonna fly. Next Saturday we start childbirth classes, have a maternity tour scheduled, baby shower that my bestest is throwing for me, an early anniversary night away, expecting a visit from the brother-in-law (before he heads off to London for a POSH new style of living!) we are starting to lead a caregroup, and having a buisness debut party! Please pray for us starting to lead a caregroup, we are really excited to meet our group and start leading on April 13th, but it is a busy time so we will need a lot of prayer for wisdom! I am excited for a new season though, not many people can say that they meet their brand new baby and make like 15 new friends all at the same time! :) I know the Lord will give us the much needed grace.
As for the business debut party, can't give away too many details, but Jess and I are starting a little business and working really hard to have a party to launch our stuff! We are even launching a website to purchase items straight from there. Let's just say with Jess's great artistic ability and great ideas, and my love for what she likes to make, we are going to have a fun little business up and running, something we can do together and from home as we are taking care of the kiddo's. Stay tuned for more details, the party is gonna be HUGE! :)
Well that is pretty much all for now. We are just staying busy with all this stuff, Bobby is working hard, and doing a great job of taking care of me when he is home. He loves tying my shoes for me! :) hehe
