Four Weeks...

I can't believe it has already been 4 weeks since our Kaylie was born. It seems so much longer actually! Things have been going great, besides the sleepless nights and times where she decides so scream in the car. :) "Welcome to motherhood!" I hear from many moms. Being a mom is hard I have to be honest. My joy and patience is constantly being tested, I know this is just another area where God wants to strip me of selfishness in my life. I love Kaylie to death but the hardest part is trying to trust the Lord when I just want to figure out and fix why she is crying. I hate it when she is fussy or crying and all I want to do is help her and make her happy, and I can't figure out how! I would love all of your prayers, I know there is a lot I need to learn about being a mommy of faith!
I have noticed her changing so much lately, mostly putting on weight! Her face is getting fuller and she is getting some chub on her little legs, I love it! She still has all of her dark hair, but I think she is starting to look a little more like me, or maybe it is just wishfull thinking on my part! She definitely favors her daddy! She is getting much stronger, lifting her head up all the time and even holding it up for short periods of time. She has been showing a "feisty" side to her lately as we like to call it, and Bobby likes to remind me that she gets that from me. :) She likes to look around a lot, sometime she will fix her eyes on something and just stare. It is the best when she is looking right at you and staring! Tomorrow she will be one month old,and I really can't believe it! Uncle Johnny was able to come for a visit from England which was awesome! He has been able to stay for a few weeks now! Kaylie loves him, she falls asleep on his chest so easily it's adorable!
