We have decided we really want to buy a house, so over the past few weeks we have been looking and Lord willing, we found a house to be built that we are praying we will get! Hopefully we will know more soon.
Kaylie still keeps us on our toes every day. She is so active, and just so much fun! She loves clapping and raising her arms up in the air when I say "hooray!" she loves eating and eats almost anything! things that she likes come as a suprise to us. She loves pickles, and lemons. She doesn't seem to mind strong flavors and hardly makes any faces when she tries new things so I think she either doesn't have tastebuds, or she just loves everything! :) She is really into "book time" right before bed. I always read her 2 books before I put her down, and she gets so excited and smiles at all the books. She has become quite the daredevil, she wants to do anything that is considered dangerous. :)
The best news is that just today, she took her very first steps!!!! Bobby and I both were here so we were able to see her do it a couple different times. The funniest thing was she started clapping after she did it like she was proud of herself! haha.
She loves playing with Roxy also. They get along so well. She gives Roxy toys to play with and is always so excited to see her.
I will post again soon with pics of Kaylie's first birthday...coming up so soon I can't even believe it!!!! Here are some pictures over the past month...

such a cutie pie! Its so rare that both parents get to see first steps- that's awesome you were both there to witness the special moment! Have fun ath er birthday!! this summer well all have to get together with the kids!
