I know it's been forever...

Well I am back! I can't believe it has been since July since I last posted. Call me a lazy bum! So much in our lives have happened since July and I can't believe I didn't post about them!
Besides Kaylie growing so much over these months, we FINALLY, FINALLY bought a house! I think the process of us actually buying a house was years, and after lookig at probably 50+ houses, putting down 2 contracts, and almost moving to Charlotte, here we are, still in Maryland, and in a brand new house. WHAT AN AMAING BLESSING!! We never dreamed we would be able to buuld a brand new house but God knew exactly where he wanted us and had the perfect house for us.
So we very joyfully packed up our apartment in Germantown, and made the move after a very LONG building process up to Middletown, Maryland. I never ever thought we would live in Middletown, or even in Frederick County for that matter. But for anyone who knows Montgomery County, its pretty darn expensive to live in. :)
And why don't police officers get paid more??? Then maybe we could have stayed in the county. BUT, living here now, I wouldn't trade it for anything!!! We just absolutely LOVE it up here. Middletown is pretty much a one stoplight town. Maybe 1 or 2 resteraunts and one grocery store, but we do have a Starbucks so there is never a complaint on my part! Our development is amazing. Not only do we live right next door to some of our dear friends, everyone that lives here is very nice and the views we have of the mountains are breathtaking. I feel like I live a bit in the country, yet we are only about 10 minutes from everything in Frederick. I absolutely love it here and cannot wait to get out and explore more once the weather gets really nice out.
I will include pics of our new house that we still can't believe we have. :) And of course I have to update about Kaylie. My sweet little girlie has tunred into a full fledge toddler! She talks up a storm now and just a complete daredevil. She is not even 2 and is already taller than almost every kid her age. She loves our new house, we bought 2 baby gates when we moved in thinking that we would definitely need them for the stairs. Sure she could walk fine but she had never lived with stairs so we had to get them. We only had to put one of them up as she just took the stairs like she was a pro. Went up on her hands and knees, and went down sliding on her butt butt. Oh by the way, this is what we call her backside. "Butt Butt." The things she says are just hilarious. She has started to say "Oh, Boy!" When she gets excited about something. And thanks to her obsession with Barney, she always gives people and animals for that matter, a "Big Hug" and "Kiss." I can't complain that is for sure. She makes life so much fun! Christmas was awesome for her, she really got into opening presents and saying thank you for them! I have been amazed at how easy she has picked up on saying "Please" and "Thank You." She does such a great job I am so proud of her when she says it without me reminding her! And she gets so proud of herself when she does something.
Like I said before, she is a little daredevil. I think she doesn't really have much fear. Sometimes she will take time to check something out, but then of course like most other things these days, she has to try it herslef. "Self!" she says. My little Miss Independent. :)
She is still doing My Gym. She continues to love it, the slides, and now the balance beam. In the Frederick mall a new kids place opened up that Kaylie I think dreams about she loves that place so much. Tons of moon bounces for the kids to play on and slides. That is her favorite place for Daddy to take her. When I ask her what she wants to do with Daddy when he has a free day she replies, "Daddy, mall!" At least she doesn't want to go to the mall to shop, I think I have a few more years before that starts.
She has however started to get a little excited when she sees something in a store she wants. She has been known to just take something off the shelf and march straight up to the counter, plop it down and say "Buy It!" of course with a smile on her face. She has guts thats for sure. :) Anyway, back to the daredevil. Well she doesn't seem to be afraid of slides, not even really big ones that is for sure. We have been making recent trips to the indoor pool which she loves and regularly tries to drown herself by jumping in where its too deep. Yesterday in fact, Bobby took her to the pool while I was at work. He said they probably went down the water slide 20 times before she started to beg to go down by herself. Clearly she is too little to go down herself. But Bobby asked the lifegaurd and he said it was ok as long as Bobby was at the bottom to catch her. Well I think she learned a little lesson that day. Once she hit the turn it flipped her over so she was going down head first. Of course she wasn't hurt and Bobby caught her at the bottom, but hopefully she learned that when we won't let her do something by herself it is for a good reason. :)
Anyway, I could go on and on about my big girl. We have so much fun with her, and a lot to look forward to in the coming months! She turns 2 on May 5th and of course we are going to have a huge party. What type of party you ask? Of course a Barney party. :) I am having a blast starting to plan her party.
Well I will end with some pics over these past months, as well as some from our recent trip to Disney World! I hope to post more often, I just needed to give myself a little kick in the butt.

Our first snow a few weeks before Christmas!
