We Moved!!

Well I know it's been a long time since I have posted, but we have been pretty busy! The great news is, we have moved into our new rental townhouse, and we are loving it!! We are seriously so blessed to have a great couple to rent from, they kept it so nice and beautiful! :) Here are all the shots that I collected from the move!

Soon there was nothing left that looked like our apartment, just boxes and empty rooms. I actually started to get sad!

And the living room ended up in mad chaos!

Then, as we got everything out, we drove down the road, and WELCOME HOME!!! Our new home!

After unpacking we stopped for some pizza. Thanks to Rob and Mary, Steve and his bro for taking a night out to help us move stuff over!! They were huge lifesavers :)

Here is my beautiful new kitchen! It is so pretty, although I do admit that it was quite a long task to try to unpack everything and figure out where to put everything! I was a little worried at first because we had a lot more cabinet space in the apartment, but it all worked out and I was able to fit everything in pretty nicely. Now the kitchen is one of my favorite places in the house :)

So as you can see everything has come together quite nicely! We are pretty much completely set up now, I would post finished pics, but you will just have to come over and see for yourself!

Well nothing else is really going on, we are just getting settled and enjoying the nice weather that we have had here the past few days. We are having a blast getting to know our new town of Damascus a little better. We have already gotten ice cream at Jimmy Cone, and if you don't know what Jimmy Cone is, it is only the happening place to be in Damascus! :) We also have found a great new spot at the Music Cafe which is a cute little coffee/sandwich shop that has live music a lot and open mic nights twice a week. It has only been open for 8 months, but the are doing really well, and there are a lot of local bands and singers that play there.

Bobby is doing well at the academy, I can't beleive that he is over half way through already! He really is doing well, and enjoying every minute of it. I actually enjoy hearing all his stories and am starting to embrace my upcoming role as a "cops wife." Who would have known!? Continue to keep him in prayer as he finished these last few months, and also please keep his bro Johnny in prayer as he is out at sea stopping in many different countries!
