GRADUATION DAY!!!!!

Well, he did it!! My husband for the past 7 months has worked hard, learned a lot, and has completed the academy! This past thursday was his graduation day and it was so cool to see him in uniform and graduate with the rest of his class. I am so proud of him and so excited to get to see him start this new exciting career. When we were driving home the other night he said to me that he think it's really cool that out of all the things he has accomplished in his life, this is one thing that really has a real meaning and purpose. I am so glad that Bobby has found a calling that he is passionate about and that makes a real difference in the world. When we have kids they are going to have one great role model in their daddy! Before I show graduation pics I just want to share this cute photo from when we went to the beach for the 4th of July! :)

Here is a picture of the stage with the class banner. Their class was Session 50 and they designed the banner.

Here is the class! Bobby's class was full of some really great guys and girls, I was able to meet a lot of them and they really are a fine group of men and women, I am proud to know them.
(If you want to find Bobby in the pic it is like "where's waldo?" for a hint, find the really really tall guy standing in the back, Bobby is on his right!)

You can't have a man in uniform without being by the flag! :)

Here is my handsome husband all dapper in his uniform! :)

This guy right here has become one of our favorites! His name is DJ (Bobby calls him by his last name which is Brew) and they pretty much became best friends at the academy. Brew is an awesome guy and spent many nights at our house for dinner and even earned a room in our house. I am so glad Bobby found such a great friend during the academy, they worked out together a lot and helped each other out, it's sad they won't see each other every day anymore, but Brew will be over for dinner a lot! :)

Well that is all for pictures. As for me, I am right now as I write, thinking about my husband who is out on his first night on the job. I am sure that he is having a blast and that the Lord is blessing his first day, I can't wait to hear all about it! When I do, I will be sure to let you all know. Thanks for all your prayers and support, we love you all and are so humbled by how blessed we are.

So excited for you! I loved our talk the other day - it was so great to catch up! Life is taking a new turn for, and I know that God's grace will be with you both every step of the way as you are adjusting to Bobby's new schedule.

Bobby, I'm so proud of you and thank the Lord for His leading in your life...and thank the Lord that you are willing to follow His leading! And 'Lis, thank you for being such a loving wife and encourager to Bobby (+ an awesome daughter!). I love you both so much and am so proud of both of you. A wedding, an anniversary, a graduation...the blessings just keep piling up!! XOXO ~ Mom
