They all turned out great and Bobby loved them! The reason why Thursday was not on the list was because that was our date night and Bobby took me to La Madeline for dinner! I had mentioned to him out of the blue a little while ago that I would like to go there sometime since it had been forever since I was last there. He remembered and surprised me with dinner there. It was an extremely cold night out so it was perfect for sitting by the fire and drinking hot tea! It reminded me of the times that I would go with Jes during the winter and we would get hot tea or coffee and just study or have quiet times. What sweet memories! :)
Well another thing that happened this past week was Roxy's visit to the cardiologist. Most of you know that recently our vet found that she had a heart murmer, so we were sent to see a specialist to get a ecocardiogram. I took off work early on Wed. and took her down to Rockville for the visit. The vet listened to her heart a lot, and then did the exam. What he found was that Roxy has a mild heart disease. He believes that is was hereditary and that she was born with the problem and it was just so small it was never noticed. The problem is that her blow flow in the aeortic valve is abnormal. He said that as of right now it is very mild and should not be a problem for her at all. There is a chance though that it may worsen as she gets older so we will have to have it checked often and make sure that it never gets worse. We will never be able to breed her, not that we were going to, we had her scheduled to be spayed and had to cancel because of this!! We will get her back on the schedule though and treat her the same that we always have, the good thing is that we don't have to change and habits. This was Roxy the night she got home showing that she thinks she owns the couch!
